If you just skip through it like every other user manual, you might miss out on some very cool features that your equipment is capable of.
But first, let me get the basics:
Lenses:
Before you go ahead and start splurging on lenses like crazy, cause boy are they pricey! Do your research and narrow down the list according to your needs so that you are not wasting your money on something you don’t plan to use for your work.
Hues:
It is one thing to click vibrant pictures where the colors come to life but there’s a thin line of overdoing it. Yes the photographs looks amazing but too many colors just bleeding from the frame can ruin the entire effect.
Editing:
The content you create with your camera might need some fixes here and there. A little tweak or some saturation needs to be increased to bring out the best in the picture. Highlighting the best parts, yet again do not over edit the picture that it loses its authenticity.
Angles:
When it comes to taking exceptional pictures of subjects, try some more angles than the common poses. Get in front of the mirror and experiment with various angles and figure out which is your best size. Bring it out in your next photo-shoot. That being said, it doesn’t mean the common poses or a straight face is bad, first it depends upon the requirement of the shoot and next well angles can add a fun element along with providing a cinematic edge.
Hands-free:
The one tip that works best is to make sure that your hands are far apart from your body and not sticking too close because that gives a larger appearance. Tyr finding some poses where your hands are away from your torso. It also gives an impression of a slender frame.
Frames:
A very important tactic which must be incorporated like a ritual in the pictures you take is to decide a set frame and place your subject in it. Now this needs to be done very tactically making clear as to what is your focal point. For portraits you can use a smaller frame and inch in closer to the subject. For a more vivid and cinematic appearance look around your surroundings and mark points that you are going to use in the frame.
The golden hour:
It is legit Nature’s call to all people out there to bring out their gears and capture the subtly vivacious colors splurging throughout the sky. It’s as if nature is flaunting its beauty and it would be foolish not to capture it. The colors are brilliant, you do not need too much makeup rather none would be better. The golden hour gives you room to play with the best naturally available lights.
Up close and personal:
Easy right, close in for the pictures you take so that your subject is clearer. Makes the frame better utilized as it is uncluttered and you do not capture the unnecessary things in your photograph. It is a compulsion as far as clicking portraits go but you can also use this tip to make one thing as your focal point and the image comes out as strong.
