Fashion- What’s trending!
A lot many new and exciting things will be seen for the coming year. As always you need to be ready to experiment and try out new things a little outside your comfort zone. Recently more androgynous clothing is being lauded. We also got to stop hoarding and fashion- What’s trending!
It’s that time of the year again! Yes, time to revamp your closet, getting your hands on all that is new, and own exciting fashion trends this year has to offer. With many of you already on tenterhooks to get the latest collections and embellish your closet with the hues for this season, we need to know what all needs to stay, and what’s going out the window. Few trends were more peculiar than the rest and it is entirely up to you as to which style do you want to own for the upcoming season. If you haven’t been thorough with your F TV episodes, let’s walk you through what’s coming up in stores for you to grab.
Not so short shorts:
Last season was all about the skin-tight cycling shorts. Made out of spandex which was one extraordinary trend but thankfully this year we will see more knee-length, pastel-colored more free shorts. Not so skintight anymore, they can be paired with shirts or fringes or layers. More convenient and your go-to casual outfit.
Dad Sneakers:
These heavy-duty chunky Dad sneakers have been going around and will be seen a lot more this year as well. Recently Gigi launched her own athleisure collection in a collab with Reebok. One thing to note is that while they are a statement on their own hence, they would go with more feminine prints or outfits as they stand out bold.
High waist:
With high waist everything taking 2018 by storm, this resurrected trend is here to stay. Jeans, treggings, denims, boyfriend jean, tell me about it. Any and this is tried and tested, a fact in fact, anything goes with high waist bottoms.
Fringes:
In skirts, tops, blouses, and bags fringes were seen clouding the ramp and these are going to trending this season. This western culture-inspired trend can use in layers or as an overall. It gives a fun edge to your ensemble.
Colors:
We are not talking about the blinding fluorescent colors, but neon is going to have its way this season as well. Bold colors in prints and clothes as well as lip shades will be seen around a lot more. While wearing bright colors that stand out, make sure that is the only focal point of your attire. Do not over accessorize and try to tone it down a little bit by using solids or pale colors in layers. One bold only, not a Technicolor fash parade pick your bright colors outfit and everything else has to be toned down.
The sundown hues:
More of the living coral which no doubt is a bright shade but with a subtle toned-down touch to it. More such colors witnessed on the ramps were Sunburn orange, Auburn and jackets or khakis in these dulcet tones would go amazing with various outfits.
Bleached denim:
Honestly, denim can NEVER go out of style. They just get tweaked and touched up. Bleached is back.
Floral prints:
Bright for the spring summertime and pastel-colored florals for the autumn wintertime. Throw on a pastel floral blouse with a solid pencil skirt to get that fun yet formal look.
Metallics:
If you are wearing them, make sure there is only one centerpiece. And do not wear metallic lip shades while you are already wearing a shimmery top. Only one can have the limelight at a time.
Puffy shoulders:
Long sleeved, go with any kind of bottoms. You can wear them as formals or chic or casual pair them with high waist jeans. They definitely are a thing we are going to be thankful for being brought back in vogue.
