Samantha Holly and her journey till now
Samantha Holly talks about her journey in the modeling industry in the May edition of the WORLD MODEL HUNT magazine. She talks about everything that matters to her, give it a read.
An insight on your journey as a model?
I was 18 years old for my first photoshoot actually! I started with Fred’s photography just for fun because I wanted a couple of good photos of myself. After I got the pictures back was actually when I started to think about modeling, I gained some weight and had to stop because I didn’t like how I looked anymore but found the motivation to get my butt in gear to be healthy again and I started shortly after I liked how I looked!
Qualities of a good model?
Humility is honestly one of the biggest qualities I believe a good model should have. We all know you have to have something about your look to become a big model. That’s what every agency looks for. But knowing that you have it and not to showcase it to the world in a negative light is what I believe makes a mature model, and you have to be mature in this industry to succeed!
What do you want to achieve as a model?
There are so many things I would love to do as a model! Want to get more involved in organizations that help the well-being of people’s mental health, living conditions, and physical surroundings. There has been a lot of bad to happen in my life. I would love to try to help others that are going through similar situations and show them that life does get better by how you look and live in it, but you need to determine that.
How do you relate art and nudity to modeling?
I believe modeling is about exploring your body to find your best presentable angles. When modeling nude or in lingerie. It’s about the raw exploration of your curves and how you feel about yourself. When I pose nude or in lingerie, it’s about the empowering feeling I feel because I see myself in natural light.
The perfect answer to who is Samantha Holly.
I am an enigma. You ask me why I say why not? I can go out mudding with you for hours then put on heels for a nice date out. I can take paintballs, throw bulls eyes with axes, or hike a mountain but will do a perfect winged eyeliner, play dress up and walk in 4-inch heels. I love animals, nature and crave adrenaline rushes. I also like to be alone and read a good book or old movie well cuddling up with my cats! I like organization but I love chaos.
What do you love doing the most?
I love to help people. Finding answers to questions, going out of my way to make someone smile, all those little things that not a lot of people think about. I love spreading joy and happiness to as many people as I can because I believe that karma will one day finally work itself out!
Philanthropy, you are involved in.
I often find myself sharing others’ art I come across on social media to my story to promote their platform. I believe when you see something that sparks your interest, why would you not want to share that with the world? Maybe more people will share your passion and it could start a conversation that you didn’t have before. Eventually, I would like to get more involved in a charity that I can invest time and money into when I would be philanthropic about, so
Many things because I believe that there is a lot of bad in this world but spreading a little joy everywhere could start so many people off on a better path. Domestic violence, sexual assault, world hunger, health care worldwide, and animal cruelty to name a few. If just a couple of people or animals could have a better life to look forward to, how much would it change them.
What are your religious beliefs?
I was raised in the catholic faith and my dad is still very catholic. My beliefs have changed slightly over the years with what I have experienced. Believe that we ultimately make up our fate. Our circumstances do not make our future and determination does preserver.
